I reached out to my contact at Five Star Manufacturing (the maker of Kat's Heaters), and he confirmed that the 25-watt Kat's Heaters Oil or Transmission Pan Heating Pad 1-1/2" x 5" - 120V # KH24025 gets to about 150 degrees Fahrenheit. As far as the 50-watt # KH24050, they unfortunately do not have that spec. However, he did say that it does get considerably hotter than the 25-watt model. view full answer...
The Kat's Heaters Oil and Coolant Immersion Heater # KH30903 produces constant heat; it is not thermostatically controlled. You can regulate the heat by the wattage you use. However, I recommend using a Y-Cord with a thermostat on it, like # KH35202, which automatically shuts the heater off between 100 F and 120 F, or # KH35203 (55-75 degrees).

My contact at FloTools did not have a material thickness specification handy for their Super Duty Drain Container # FT42004 so I went to our warehouse to handle this item and to measure hits thickness at the points where it is possible to do so.
